Route by route

From Kampala city centre

about 1 hour approx. 25 km
  1. Head north out of the city on the Kampala-Gayaza road.
  2. Continue through Kalerwe and Kanyanya towards Gayaza town.
  3. At Gayaza, join the Gayaza-Zirobwe road heading north east.
  4. Continue to Kiwenda trading centre.
  5. The Cosy Inn is signposted on the right. Look for the maroon gate.

From Entebbe International Airport

about 1 hour 45 minutes approx. 60 km
  1. Take the Entebbe-Kampala expressway towards Kampala.
  2. Join the northern bypass to avoid the city centre.
  3. Exit onto the Kampala-Gayaza road heading north.
  4. Continue to Gayaza, then on to Kiwenda as above.

By public transport

  1. Take a taxi (matatu) from the Old Taxi Park in Kampala towards Gayaza.
  2. Change at Gayaza for a Zirobwe-bound taxi and ask for Kiwenda.
  3. From Kiwenda trading centre it is a short boda-boda ride to the gate.
  4. Message us on WhatsApp when you set off and we will guide your rider in.
